Save the Chickens – Save the World

The chickens of Key West are part of what make the city unique and interesting.  The chickens are descendents of birds that were once used in cock fights and were later let go to roam the streets.  Over the years the chickens became their own breed and became a part of the soul of Key West.  With the recent influx of big money there has been a backlash against the chickens of Key West.  Some want to destroy the chickens and/or remove them from the island.  They have used every excuse in the book from noise to bird flu.  Now there is a person or group of scum bags killing the proud birds.  This is sick and against everything that makes Key West great.  Please support the Key West chickens and make sure that you let everyone know that you support and love the birds.  Visit the Chicken Store for more info.
